Sefton

Azure on a cross recerecle or a rose gules for Lancashire, in base a bar wavy azure for the sea.

The cross recerecel is in this case a stylised form of the cross Moline, which is from the coat of arms of the Molyneux Earls of Sefton who were major land owners in the area and therefore represents Sefton. The rose shows that originally the county was within the borders of Lancashire.
